We are planning to record a few new songs in the very near future.  In the meantime we are still are playing at various venues here in Northern California.

Hello Sugarplums, 

We haven't sent out an email in quite awhile.  We hope all is well with our devoted fans!  We appreciate all the continued support!

We have been very busy with recording and performing.  This is our 11th year playing as a full band, trio or duo.  Please find all of our upcoming dates here on our website under SHOWS.  

We are very excited to be playing at the California State Fair, this coming July 19, 2023 Wednesday from 7 to 9pm.  You can find us at the Blues & Brews stage, (formerly known as the Speakeasy Stage)

As of today July 10, 2023 we still have 7 more shows scheduled and will be adding more as we get booked.

Sugarplum the Band 2018 

We have a lot of exciting things going on right now....from shows to recording...also as many of you know from our New Year's post we have added John and Utah,  two new awesome and talented members to the group.  They are in the updated photos and will be appearing on the upcoming CD.  We hope to be recording at Prairie Sun Recording Studios within the next 4 to 6 weeks depending on funding.....thank you all for you continued love and support!  Love is all that Matters!  Cheers!

Fall projects 

Hey  Sugarplums!

We have been really busy with lots of shows and last minute bookings....working on our CD and original artwork!
We only have a few more gigs for this year...we have been fortunate in playing for some wonderful people at fabulous venues.  We got to play for "Day of Hope" recently and next is our show on Sept 19th..."Playing for Peace Music Festival".  These types of events are what we are all about....HOPE and PEACE....please join us by being the change you envision.

Hi there Sugarplums

We have been busy since the first of the year ....first recording at Prairie Sun in Jan and Feb....then doing multiple tracks at Sac City Audio in March and April.  The very talented, Brandy Lane stepped in to do the 11 bass tracks.  She did an incredible job and we are now in the mixing process.

Hello Sugarplums

We have been diligently working on getting our CD completed.  We spent several days in Jan. and Feb. 2019 at Prairie Sun Recording Studios laying down bass, drums, scratch tracks as well as lead vocals and 1st harmonies.  Since then we have continued putting percussion, lead guitar. keyboards, mandolin and numerous back up vocals at Sac City Audio.  We also record in our home and are determined to have the CD out by early May!  You  can purchase here on our site as well as other locations to be announced.  Our CD release party is scheduled for May 18th 7 to 10 pm....more details here at our events tab...all the best! Hey there Sugarplums....it has been a very busy year for us....we have had the good fortune to add John Winger as the new bass player for the band.  He is very unique, creative and talented...fits right in with his great sense of humor and warm personality!

We have been recording the past few months and started working on a side project to be announced in the next few weeks!  Very exciting for us!

Our long awaited CD project has been officially booked at Prairie Sun Studios the first week of January 2019!  We are moving along at a good momentum and will keep you posted....love to all...be the change!

Some quick updates for you.                                                                                                  We recently added Utah Arnold, an awesome drummer/percussionist and John Lichter, a  very fine sweet flutist to the group!
